Stacey also uses various techniques in assisting her clients to build tools and strategies, such as: emotional regulation work (thoughts and feelings); anxiety reducers; processing approaches; communication techniques; or help assist those with social skill building, etc.
These are just a few hopeful ways that may allow your therapy to guide in the appropriate direction. Also, parents may enjoy working on techniques that tend to work best with parenting a high-spirited child/teen or children with special challenges. Parents of teenagers may just wish to attend therapy for the pure validation on just how challenging parenting a teen can be :)
In the meantime, we can all Trust The Process.
