20 years in business and 13 years as a contractor.
What is your primary product or service?
Concrete Countertops, Sinks, Fireplaces and Furniture. Precast and Unique. The products are used in Commercial and Residential applications.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Have a design background with a specialty of Kitchen and Bath Design. Had worked in politics and decided that it was too stressful. I feel creative and get satisfaction from working with my customers. I am much happier.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We started the concrete countertop craze and have the experience to complete large jobs and small ones. Our experience and design expertise provides our customers with a professional product.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just one shop. We can ship anywhere and install locally.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Hannah Black is the President of Paradise Concrete Design Studio. She provides design services and marketing, while Ray Aycox is the general manager of the shop and manufactures the product and installs it.
What are your hours of operation?
Our shop is open between the hours of 8 to 3 daily and meet with customers by appointment only.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Sometimes my customers hug me and tell me they love our products. That makes me feel good!
