Spartan was founded in 1966.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a distributor of branded products, including embroidered corporate apparel; screen printed tee shirts; pens, mugs, etc.; awards; employee incentive and recognition gifts; tradeshow/event giveaways; golf outings; and many other items for logo recognition.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As manager of the Tempe office, getting into the promotional product business was an easy transition from public relations/marketing work. Promoting a business or an event with the use of promotional products is necessary for it's success.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have a long history in this business and we have a trained and experienced sales staff who care greatly about finding the appropraite item at the approriate cost for their clients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Spartan Promotional Group, Inc. has offices and sales representatives throughout the country. In Arizona we have a main office in Tempe and independent sales representatives working in Chandler, Anthem, Phoenix and Tucson.

From 10, take the Elliot Rd. exit and go east on Elliot. From the 101, take the Elliot Rd. exit and head west. From 60, take the McClintock exit and head south.

Spartan Promotional Group is owned by the Hohenwald family in Minnesota, home of the corporate office. Janna Mundis runs the daily operations of the Arizona office.
